STOPLOGS

Stoplog for isolating the area for work and valve and gate maintenance.

Stoplogs are made up of a panel or stackable panels in the slots in the fixed parts to create a work space on their downstream side, where assembly or maintenance work can be carried out on equipment.

They are designed to make the seal with neoprene of 65 Shore hardness on the stoplog body and stainless steel fixed parts.

To position the stoplog modules for sealing, a Lifting Beam or binding beam is designed to hold the stoplog module, transport it and position it correctly in the fixed part slots. The lifting beam is very useful when the operator cannot engage the stoplog module because there is water or it would pose a risk to the person.

Stoplogs are made up of the following main elements:

  • Panel
  • Fixed parts
  • Waterproofing
  • Lifting beam

INHISA designs Stoplogs according to the following principles:

  • Optimising the sealing system to provide a dry working area
  • Sealing system using neoprene of 65 Shore hardness – stainless steel (fixed parts)
  • Automatic lifting beam
  • With a single panel or multiple stackable panels
